Our Mission Statement
Offer the best customer service, satisfaction and experience,
plus dedicate ourselves to be the very best at what we do.
Established in 1953 by Floyd Evans, the company originally serviced large refrigeration systems in supermarkets and office buildings. During the 60′s, the company became the Taylor distributor, and expanded its service to include restaurant equipment.
In 1972 (at the age of 20) Marty Evans started working full time as a service technician. For the next six years he took the Refrigeration and Electrical courses provided by the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, teaching the refrigeration course during the last three. He married Lori in 1972 and in 1984 they purchased the company from Floyd, who was retiring. They have two sons and five grandchildren.
The family business continues into the next generation, Nicole (Lori’s Neice) and her husband Brad, have become a big part of the company. Brad is now in charge of sales and General Manager, Nicole has taken over Lori’s job as Office managerand Accounting. The company inventories hundreds of parts ( see Local Servicefor a full list ) for Taylor, Astra and Flavor Burst Equipment, along with the most common refrigeration parts. Each of the service vans carries a Freon Recovery machine, Vacuum pump, Oxygen/Acetylene braising torch, four different types of CFC free refrigerants, two EPA certified freon recovery tanks, several types of electrical meters and refrigerant gages. We service the entire Treasure Valley, which, besides the Boise area, includes Vale, Nyssa and Ontario in Oregon.
Service meetings are held every morning, so that each technician is updated on the current call log, and each can discuss any symptoms or problems they have encountered, the entire staff learns from each other. Outside service companies are used in Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Twin Falls. All of the technicians are eventually sent to the Taylor Factory for service training.
With Marty’s extensive service background in all types of restaurant equipment, he is able to help diagnose and sometimes even help the customer make repairs over the phone. We currently are servicing all types of restaurant equipment, including fryer, grills and ovens and have just received our Idaho HVAC contractors licenses (June 2011). Having an A+ Accredited Business rating with the Better Business Bureau shows that our company places honesty and integrity above anything else. We strive to become your business partner and hope for a long and lasting relationship that benifits us both.
